Qur'anic Perspectives #1 - The Qur'an is not a Substitute for Hadiths

Just some thought on why the Qur'an should not be treated as a substitute for Hadiths. That doesn't mean we need Hadiths. It means that the Qur'an stands alone, and we should not try to use it as we used to use Hadiths, trying to find different answers to the same questions that Hadiths answer. I advise against trying to find in the Qur'an the very things you have given up when and if you decided to follow the Qur'an alone. Instead let the Qur'an lead you. Take your questions from the Qur'an at first and it will soon teach you how to ask it the right questions.
